1962
Founding of the original company, IMAUSA, a manufacturer of construction tools, based in Huarte, in Navarre, Spain.
1966
The first tower crane is manufactured under a Soteco license.
1968
First crane under the Comansa brand.
1975
Name change and the birth of Construcciones Metálicas Comansa S.A.
1983
Comansa acquires the rights to the Linden 8000 system and begins to apply it to its product range.
2001
Comansa begins operations in the United States, to provide sales and service coverage to the United States and Canada.
2005
The Comansa headquarters and factory in Huarte are moved to new larger and more modern facilities in the same town.
2006
Comansa begins operations in China through a joint venture, with a production centre and office for Asia. The cranes manufactured in China are distributed under the Comansa JIE brand.
2015
Comansa acquires 100% ownership of the company in China. The Comansa JIE brand becomes Comansa CM.
2018
The Linden Comansa and Comansa CM brands are merged under a single brand for the entire product range: Comansa
