Linden Comansa presents the new LC 1100 Series at SMOPYC
Zaragoza’s Exhibition Centre hosted SMOPYC last April. Spain’s leading Show of Construction and Mining Machinery attracted more than 100.000 visitors, becoming one of Europe’s most interesting meeting points for the industry professionals.
Linden Comansa didn’t want to miss this great opportunity, and presented in Zaragoza its new series of Flat-Top tower cranes, the LC1100. The commercialization of this new series will begin in the next few months, and will be based on these special highlights:
- New Mechanisms, for both elevation -with more cable capacity and new motorization possibilities- and turning -with two motors that will reduce the crown’s efforts-.
- New design of a lighter Counter-jib, whose counterweights will be easier to install and self-blocked.
- New four-part, two-part lines Trolley System, which allows maximum optimization of the load graph.
- New turning platform, with motors, elevation mechanism and electric cupboard, all installed at Linden Comansa’s factory, so that erecting, dismantling and all the maintenance will be easier.
- New Cab position, at the best height for the crane operator, and with a wider and more comfortable platform. It will also include the new Lincomatic system, which will provide digital information about the load, distances and forbidden areas, as well as data registration.
All of these new characteristics will improve Linden Comansa’s Flat-Top cranes, one of the most well known tower cranes. This new LC1100 Series will be formed by medium-size cranes, with a maximum radius between 52,5 and 65 meters; a maximum load at the jib’s end between 1.000 and 1.700 kilograms, while the maximum load will cover from 5 to 8 tons. With all these characteristics, the new LCX1100 cranes will substitute two of Linden Comansa’s most emblematic series: the LC1000 and LC 5211 families.
