Launch of the new 6LC85 crane

Comansa expands its range of Flat-Top tower cranes with the new 6LC85 SmartLift, a compact model incorporating a new generation of technology designed to enhance the crane’s safety, control, connectivity and operational efficiency.

The new 6LC85 SmartLift reaches a maximum jib length of 52.5 metres, with a jib-end load of 1,100 kg, and has been designed to facilitate transport and assembly, as well as operation and maintenance. Its compact and modular design makes it particularly suitable for urban projects and confined workspaces.

The introduction of SmartLift technology represents an evolution in the electrical and control architecture of Comansa cranes. The new system centralises control through a PLC and latest-generation variable frequency drives, enabling more precise management of crane movements, enhanced diagnostic capabilities and a simpler, more scalable architecture.

SmartLift also incorporates advanced safety and operator-assistance functions, including precise positioning control, load and limit monitoring through sensors and encoders, the definition of exclusion zones, operating data logging and a real-time diagnostic system.

The new 6LC85 SmartLift therefore combines performance, precision, safety and connectivity in a crane designed to simplify operation, facilitate maintenance and improve productivity throughout its service life.
